Android devices need to use Google Chrome when accessing Virtual Assist, but sometimes your customer might not have Google Chrome set as their default! When this happens, Virtual Assist will prompt the user to open the VA link in Google Chrome. The good news is, that your user shouldn't have to do anything extra other than following the prompts!

If there's an issue with the current browser they're trying to use, you can also coach them on how to make Google Chrome their default browser, so that the next time they try to open the VA link, Google Chrome will be used automatically. Read the instructions below:

Set Chrome as your default web browser

  1. On your Android, open Settings .

  2. Tap Apps & notifications.

  3. At the bottom, tap Advanced.

  4. Tap Default apps.

  5. Tap Browser App Chrome .

If you're stuck, please ask your customer what browser their phone is using and let us know by sending a message to support@codafication.com
