Margin/Markup Uplift

Within Crunchwork, financial terminology has been aligned for more cohesion, now using the ‘Markup’ label and calculation in the following Apps:

  • Accounts

  • Catalog

  • Pulse

  • Quotes

  • Invoices

Depending on the account's preference, users now have the option to toggle either 'Markup', 'Margin' or 'None' per Account, to display on financial records.

Line Item Management

We know that job cost control is important to our clients, and that there are challenges with tracking the line items through the life cycle of a claim. To help manage this, we’re introducing the ability to manage quote line items by status so you can keep track of the progress of each line item throughout the repair process.

In this update, we’re including:

  • The ability to apply a status to a line item in Quotes.

  • The ability to view what purchase orders a line item is allocated to in the original quote.

  • The ability to allocate a line item to multiple POs, and mechanisms to prevent the duplication of line item costs when allocated.

  • The ability to see the remaining and allocated budgets in Purchase Orders.

ENData Scope API

The ENData integration will now allow suppliers to submit Scopes, Make Safes and Variations via API.

AI Sentiment

Crunchwork now leverages Amazon Comprehend in emails synced with Email Ingress to understand customer and client sentiment from text in emails. This will provide you with more tools to build processes to support better customer relations and complaint management.

Performance Upgrades

We’ve made some major improvements to site performance with three times more requests per second.

Asset Manager

This new app allows restorers to maintain an inventory of restoration equipment, book equipment to jobs and invoice for equipment. To enable this app, please contact the Customer Success team.

QR Codes

Included in Asset Manager, this feature means Asset labels now print the warehouse location rather than the organisation details of the logged-in user.

Quotes

Group Labels

We’re upgrading quotes and purchase orders to have pre-defined group labels, making it easier to control what appears on your financial documents.

‘Back to Top' Function

A new way to quickly go back to the top of a quote and invoice instead of excessively scrolling.

‘Hide Totals’ Function

This feature allows you to hide the totals boxes per each group, so that more line items are visible on the screen.

Time Tracking

The Time Tracking app allows you to add time-tracking records against jobs to reliably track, report and invoice. When enabled, this becomes a new app in your menu.

Time Tracking in Dashboards

With Time Tracking enabled, you will be able to see your timesheets from the Dashboards app.

Pulse

Email Replies

Email replies in Cr

unchwork allow you to track and record all emails sent from Crunchwork and responded to from your supply chain. Any email that's sent from Crunchwork can now be replied to and attached against its related job with this feature. You can read more about it here.

Job Schedule Changes

There are a few changes to the job schedule page:

  • We’ve updated the ‘Add group’ button to ‘Add purchase orders’.

  • Clicking ‘Send purchase order’ from job schedule will now open an email modal, so that you can change the email templates being used.

  • Vendor selection now strictly filters by category and top rating.

Job Finance Component

Jobs in Pulse now display a summary of purchase orders for ease of use. This feature helps Builders track the authorised amount spent across purchase orders, so that they can track how much they've spent, and invoice correctly at the end of the job.

Job Cost Summary

We've been listening to your feedback, and have now added a new table that summarises quotes, purchase orders and invoice information against each Project and Job. You will now be able to clearly reference the total values of authorised quotes, and purchase orders, and then track outgoing invoices in one single view.

Contact Card Colours

We’ve updated the contact cards to replace the teal highlights with the standard blue for clickable phone numbers and addresses.

Edit Project Type

We’ve updated the 'edit project type' page to include better account assignment and user experience.

‘Jump-to’ Menu Improvement

The Jump-to menu has been updated to state job types clearly.

Job Attachments Filter

The filter now allows users to sort your job attachments by alphabetical order and upload date/time.

Dashboard Filters

We’ve improved the user interface for dashboard filtering.

Crunchwork on Mobile

We’ve improved the mobile user interface.

Purchase Orders

External Job Allocation

You can now choose to create a job allocation at the time of sending a purchase order. Organisations may want to review their current processes for handling job allocations. Please inquire with the Customer Success team to configure external job allocation.

Progress Invoices

AP teams may record received invoices against a purchase order, so that they can track budget when reconciling trade progress invoices.

Organisation Details on PDF Template

Crunchwork organisations with multiple offices may record office contact information via Organisation Details, which can now dynamically apply unique org details contact information onto outgoing PDFs.

Template Update

We’ve updated the wording on the Purchase Order from ‘reports’ to ‘safety documents (including JSA, SWMS and CoC as required)’.

The benefit now is that it’s very clear about what kind of documents we require from the trade before payment, which is standard within the industry.

Zone Search

You can now search purchase orders by zone.

Invoices

Contacts

Invoices will now allow you to select contacts as the invoice recipient.

Configuration Portal has a new layout! The side panel is now the primary mode of setting navigation.

Mobile users can now access the appointment contact phone number and directions to the appointment from the Calendar day view.
