When sending purchase orders from the job schedule, you can control the budget for labour, material and other items, then see your margin as a percentage.
Steps to view the budget on the job schedule:
If you haven't already converted a quote into purchase orders, please start on this article.
Open a purchase order by selecting the pencil in GROUP ACTIONS
This will open the purchase order in a new window on the page. Select "Budget", so that you can see the budget on the left hand side.
In the example below, the sum of material line items is $310, but the budget allocation for material has been made $250. The purchase order sent to the trade will state $250 budget for material.
The percentage margin is 19.35% in this case.
