How do I create and send an invoice?

When you're ready to invoice for you job, use the "Create" button again to choose "Invoice". Note that Excess invoices currently can only be created against Works or Completion jobs.

How can I invoice a client for multiple quotes in a final invoice?

At the end of your job, it's possible to have performed multiple quotes.

The ‘merge quote’ feature on invoices imports 'Completed' line items from many quotes onto one invoice, so that you can save time on providing a final invoice at the end of a job.

Note that users will not be able to change the status of line items in a 'Cancelled' and 'Cash Settled' status to 'Completed'.

How can I stay on top of the work that has been reconciled?

Purchase orders for necessary work will only be sent by users to vendors after insurance companies have accepted their quotes.

Once a Purchase Order has been reconciled, users will change the PO's status to 'Reconciled' as an indication they have received payment. When this has been completed, it's important to navigate to the linked (or unlinked) quote, and change the status of the reconciled items to 'Completed'. This will ensure that only reconciled (Completed) items pull across to quotes when using the 'Create' button, or the 'Merge Invoice' feature.

1. Insurer assign Panel Builder to Claim

  • A Project has been created within Pulse

2. Panel Builder assesses Job, and sends quote to Insurer for required works.

3. Insurer approves quote. Change Quote Status from 'Published' -> 'Approved'.

4. Users will create and assign PO's to Vendors based on the category of work they do (outlined within Vendor Manager).

5. PO status moved from 'Draft' to 'Sent'

  • This will automatically occur when users select the 'Save' dropdown, and select 'Send to Vendor'.

6. Vendor completes work, and sends Panel Builder an invoice for works completed.

7. CW Users click the 'Show Reconciliation' toggle, and enter the amount the Vendor Invoiced.

8. CW User changes status from 'Sent' -> 'Reconciled'.

9. This is where a user would navigate to the linked Quote, and change the status of the appropriate items to 'Completed'
