Our Contacts module is the best way to keep track of the people that your business connects with. To find the module, just look for the address book in your search bar.
Benefits to using Contacts
Links contacts to wherever you need them. Contacts you add can be found and used in Vendor Manager, Pulse, Quotes, and Invoices - helping you save time on data entry.
Understand who your customers are at a glance by using the "Customer Type" field. For example, if you're an insurance repair builder, categorising customers by "Vendor" or "Insured" is helpful to identify who's who.
Save time and bulk upload your contacts from another system using our CSV import/export. Pro-tip: Need to export some contacts based off their customer type? Use the search bar to filter your user list and use the export button.
Open the contacts module from the menu on the left side of your page.
This will open a new page where you can add name, number, notes, email and a contact type.
Contact types can be used to help define the different types of people you liaise with. For example, you could list "Policyholder" or "Landlord". This a great idea to keep in mind if you want to build specific workflows around when to be contacting certain stakeholders. You can create as many tags as needed.
Make sure you hit "create" - it's in the top right corner of your page! Once you create your contact, you can add notes.
Additional ways contacts can be added:
Directly within a job in Pulse - just use the plus sign in the contacts section of your job.
If you'd like to integrate with another system, we can automate creating new contacts from external systems for you. Just send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org to get started.
Importing and Exporting Contacts
Have a spreadsheet ready with all of your contact information? Try using the importer - it's in the top right corner of the main table.
Alternatively, if you'd like to export your contact list, just use the "Export" button that appears after clicking on "Import".
